About us

Roshni Welfare Society (RWS) is a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization working for the promotion of peace, social justice, equality and empowerment of the weak segments of society, through a combination of integrated development cum right-oriented approach at a very remote and backward District      (Layyah) of the Punjab province, Pakistan. The organization is working at gross roots level since its incorporation in May 2007, for the betterment of people. Participating and contributing in the National Level Programs such as Education, reproductive health, gender equality, Women and Children Rights through advocacy, social mobilization, free legal aid, capacity building and awareness raising activities. Roshni Welfare Society is utilizing tool of interactive Theatre for its advocacy and awareness raising programs. Roshni has developed an interactive Theatre Performers Group comprising of 15 trained male and female volunteers. This group has been awarded with many awards.

 RWS is a registered NGO, having Registration No. No.DOSW (LY) (18) dated 24-05-2007, under (Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Registration & Control Ordinance, 1961).
